Top man, full of passion, full of knowledge. We need more like him. Worth getting in touch with if you're part of a band thinking about entering the murky 'PR' waters 👍

'Paul Bedford is one of the great modern PR men. He’s reliable, enthusiastic and a lateral thinker. Paul doesn’t evade or spin – he tells it as it is. He’s got rock’n’roll in his soul.'

I first met Paul in 2021 when he brought along a new artist to Priory Live on the bbc upload stage, as the festival grows PR becomes another important part of the planning and Kick Down delivered with some really strong radio and tv interview opportunities this year it was no easy sell! a small suburban festival promoting original music but he pulled it off and has really helped this year to put Priory Live and the artists in the minds of the media, he takes care to make sure that all of the details are in place and that all parties can relate to the subject a proper music man!

Our label recently issued the critically acclaimed Tizane album, ‘Forever is Nothing’. It turns out that Forever is not quite nothing, particularly when you have Paul Bedford and the mighty ‘Kick Down the Doors’ at hand. In fact, under these circumstances, Forever becomes something, and something pretty substantial. I want to thank Paul. He worked it, felt it, busted a gut for it. So rare in this day and age. During his run on the album, he delivered literally hundreds of results across radio and press (Inc Classic Rock Magazine), glowing write ups in the Daily Mirror and The Daily Express where our record ranked alongside the likes of Madonna! I know, right! I know how hard, not to say impossible it is to find quality PR representatives in the modern ‘indie’ arena, but given that, I feel compelled to recommend Paul to you. He is peerless. You simply will not find another operation offering such a positive blend of honesty, integrity, emotional engagement, and raw energy. If it’s time for you to be noticed, I suggest you give Paul a call and start to kick down the doors.

Paul is a breath of fresh air in this industry, especially in PR. His passion for music and his motivation to churn over results for his artists is incomparable. He is honest, transparent, creative as hell and always thinking of every angle. We really appreciated the ongoing communication throughout our campaign, detailed weekly reports and Paul's boundless enthusiasm for his work. We would recommend Kick Down The Doors PR to any artist/band looking to partner in building their profile, and expanding their reach. We are big fans of Kick Down The Doors PR, and we look forward to working together again. Thanks for Everything!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Paul. He ran a highly professional PR campaign to promote our UK shows + current single, got us in touch with a record label and took the effort to organize a London show for us. Meeting him personally at this show then was the cherry on top, he also is a genuinely great human being.

We set Paul some quite focused and big asks for the release of our single "Last Train to Selby" and he delivered on every one. Just the boost that we needed.

I first met Paul Bedford online during lockdown after he found a 'funny' yet irreverent Facebook comment I made, amusing - defying the bedwetters who were taking offence at my use of the highest form of comedy: sarcasm. Obviously, that endeared me. I thought 'Paul must be cool'. We zoomed, we spoke, he got me going out to see new bands again. He inspired me to formulate a plan. No mean feat. It was at one of the gigs he lured me to that I met members of JoJo & the Teeth -a bunch of like minded individuals, who following this introduction became my new band-mates in Eater, something I never, ever would have seen coming. Paul is persuasive in a very gentle manner, which is handy because he is always coming up with ideas. 99% of them being gems. In the cheesy, charlatan-riddled world of music PR, this is important. Every band, no matter the genre, should know that being cool & true to your word is crucial. If you don't have a cool publicist, you are fucked. The problem is, most PR people are literally made out of cheese & fake smiles. But not Paul Bedford, who is only the second truly dynamic PR guy I've met - in a frighteningly long time. The legendary BP Fallon being the other. Thus, the competition should not worry Kick Down The Doors. BUT it should worry bands & artists who are looking to raise their profile in an industry full of chancers. My point being, you can judge people by the company they keep. Paul deals with some of the coolest artists out there. Like attracts like.

Paul is all you need in a PR Agent. hardworking, diligent, creative, target driven PR that gets results. Paul worked on my recent album release 'Diamonds Rocks' surpassing all expectations with a number of quality interviews, radio plays, competitions, local TV, national press and magazine Features. He also arranged two showcase gigs at central London venues with the right industry people in attendance, and a photo shoot with top photographer Tina Korhonen. His organizational skills and constant up dates kept everyone in the loop, everything on track. He ran a faultless campaign from start to finish. Great fun to work with and I give him my highest recommendations. I will be booking Kick Down the Doors for my next campaign.

'Wanna say a big shout out and thanks to Paul at Kick Down The Doors for the promotion of my first single 'Small Stuff'. Promoting upon many radio stations I still can't keep up with including BBC Radio London with Robert Elms. On top of all he's gone above the call of duty for me by securing some festival dates aswell as some top gigs. Cheers Paul, diamond geezer!'

The world is so much better with Paul Bedford in it! Human, responsive, passionate and honest! Rare quality these days! I want a real person who shares the experience of the campaign! You can search far and wide for such a dude – but there’s only one Paul Bedford!

Paul at Kick Down The Doors PR has provided an exemplary service. He’s worked tirelessly and gotten consistent results from both press and radio. With features and interviews in numerous publications plus extensive radio play, co-hosting slots and live on-air interviews I cannot recommend Kick Down The Doors highly enough. No matter what level you’re at Paul will take you higher.

I first became aware of kick Down the Doors PR due to the superb promotional work & support Paul gives to my good friend Peter Fox for his Foxy Radio show on Deal radio. I liked his upbeat approach to promoting and employed his services to push my latest book I WAS THE KING OF SPAIN. He certainly KICKED DOWN THE DOORS, almost immediately with press/radio results and even a live TV interview with Trisha Goddard ...yes !! TRISHA GODDARD! Paul also secured me a personal appearance at the much respected Rock n Roll Book Club held at the historic Dublin Castle in Camden. To cap it all off he managed to secure me a superb slot at this years REBELLION FESTIVAL on the LITERARY STAGE!! Stuff he worked on is still coming to fruition now, and one avenue explored by Paul succeeded in recently landing me my own weekly radio show on 365 radio. Well done Kick Down the Doors PR!

Paul Bedford is a true music lover and a brilliant P.R. Paul was responsible for inviting Vive Le Rock magazine onto London Live television news twice to discuss our Vive Le Rock Awards with fellow guests Ed Tudor Pole and Ginger Wildheart (The Wildhearts). This was invaluable publicity for the event that we could only have gained through Paul's hard work. Paul Bedford does the business.

Paul is an absolute pleasure to work with! Incredibly professional organised and fun to work with. Paul is so dedicated and takes so much care to match his clients to the right platforms. Paul’s passion and extensive knowledge of the music industry has led to him becoming one of London Live’s main sources for high quality guests. With exceptional connections, he’s secured interviews with artists like Eddie & the Hot Rods, Glen Matlock and Paul Cook from The Sex Pistols, The Damned’s Brian James and Frank Turner. With a specialism in the Punk/Rock genre, he has a wealth of contacts and understands different audiences, knowing the right acts to pitch, at the right time. Paul is reliable, always delivers and is a great source of entertaining and interesting interviewees.

Paul has excelled on every level. He was In contact with so many media companies and gave us feedback on a weekly basis. I can honestly say he overachieved our expectations in getting us BBC regional airplay and music trade press articles. Right upto an interview with Robert Elms on BBC Radio London. He has helped drive up social media followers and Spotify plays. As well as helping us to re brand as a bigger band with much better profile. Easily the best money we ever spent.

It sounds obvious that the purpose of promotion for an artist is to have a hack like me listen to them. But you would be surprised at how often this doesn't happen. However, Kick Down the Doors does it right. The press release I received for Rude Girl & CC's Like Wow! EP sold me on the music even before I'd heard it: spinning it, I felt a warm glow of reinforced righteous certitude! Energetic, engaging, funny and detailed, Kick Down the Door is the preferred doubleplusgood solution to all of your promo needs!

We used Paul @ Kick Down The Doors PR for a new single campaign. The overall experience was excellent! Paul has a personal and authentic approach to PR and an obvious passion for music which really helped make the campaign successful. Paul stepped in to give personal advice when needed and contributed to the creative work on the band’s press release. He was always ready to answer questions and produced a clear weekly report of results. We would be very happy to work with him again.

Paul has supported so many alternative Rock/punk bands over the last few years. He organises TV interviews with musicians, authors, filmmakers & charities. He organised interviews with myself and Paul Cook (ex Sex Pistols) to promote Camden Rocks 2017, and 2019 with Frank Turner, both on London Live TV. He puts things together and makes sure people will see the bands he loves via TV & online.
Chris McCormack

Paul was responsible for, what we didn’t realise at the time would be, the final TV appearance by Barrie Masters - lead singer of Eddie & The Hot Rods. His attention to details led us to being able to acknowledge a recent awards win with Barrie whilst also promoting an upcoming career celebration event. Having only recently took on some of the management responsibility for the band, Paul was a godsend and his experience and advice he gave me helped make my project a success. I look forward to working with Paul on future ventures.

I’ve known Paul for 4 years now and clicked with him immediately as we are both students of history. He arranged interviews for the Professionals on London Live TV, for two of our London shows, one of which was at avenue that was rather too large for us to fill (The Garage). However, Paul did an excellent job in helping promoting the show and on the night it was filled to capacity. In fact, it was such a success that we have released a live album of that event. We have always found him to be an excellent promoter who gets the job done.

Paul promoted our project with 100% dedication and a great work ethic, ensuring it was seen by the just the right audience. Being sent weekly updates for actual results (not just pitches) was very refreshing…and he got great results, surpassing our expectations. Hard working, dedicated, and passionate, I’d highly recommend Paul and Kick Down the Doors.

I met Paul when doing a gig in Yorkshire, The Members were playing and Paul was performing in a band that played a fantastic selection of proto-Punk Rock. It was a weird night but I remember his band like it was yesterday they played the MC5 and they were fantastic. I didn't see him until almost 9 years later. When I met him again whilst he was working for London live TV. Paul had a job within the advertising department, however he soon began to organise content for London Live TV. Turning the station into a great home for heritage musicians. Soon London live TV was screening footage of bands that couldn't get on the BBC but were touring regularly. They screened cult films and footage of the Clash and Live sessions from artists such as myself. Paul single-handedly was responsible for turning London Live TV into a home for great music. Paul has enthusiasm drive but most of all he has a passion for music and understands what is important I would recommend him to anybody looking to partner or employ somebody to promote Music in the multimedia world.

One of my first dealings with Paul was when he called me on a Friday to check that everything was set for me to interview one of his artists on the Sunday; the only PR man to have ever done so, a true professional. Kick Down the Doors PR made sure I had all the background information and promotional photographs I needed and Paul also asked if he could join me in the studio to watch the interview. Paul is very passionate about music and the people who are part of the profession. Thank you Paul for all your invaluable help, going above and beyond to support the Foxy Radio interview both before and after the broadcast. I look forward to working with you again and I highly recommend Kick Down The doors PR.

Paul introduced me to various people at London Live TV that made it possible for me to discuss the airing of a Joe Strummer film which was part of a promotion I was doing. Without Paul’s enthusiasm to help me I didn’t think I’d have got through the front door.

I was so very impressed with Paul’s great care and attention to detail when he organised filming of myself for London Live. He’s a man that’s proved himself to be someone whose bang up to date with what’s happening in the arts and nothing is left to chance in any aspect of PR and he is quite obviously a very respected man.

I would highly recommend Paul Bedford & Kick Down The Doors PR, if you need your band promoting in any way at all. He was consistent, and constantly delivered what he said he would do, he definitely gets results. A true businessman, It has been an amazing experience having Paul on board, and it was so refreshing to engage in a proper conversation over a pint in the pub. Very professional and organized 100% recommended

Paul was instrumental in getting me on a live TV show to do an interview a couple of years ago. He did so only through his love of music and commitment to the musicians he’s met and related to along the way. Paul is full of enthusiasm and drive and is in the business for all the right reasons which is a rarity these days.

Kick Down The Doors PR really fought my corner and got me noticed by a lot of people I otherwise wouldn't have reached. Paul worked extremely passionately on the project cutting no corners and really made sure I got the word out about my new video which received thousands of views, even getting a Sleaford Mods retweet. Thanks for your hard work!

I met Paul because of music, when you have a passion for music, it's easy to spot a fellow traveller. We've had a lot of those conversations over the years that start with a gig memory, and end up critiquing a classic album. When I heard he was starting his own press company, well, he's the perfect fella for the job - Kick Down The Doors, I'm sure he will, in the best way possible.

Paul is a great lover of music with a can do attitude, who is always going the extra mile to make music happen. Paul has been a great source of advice and encouragement, setting up some cracking gigs I've played over the years. These have ranged from the relatively cosy laid back pub sets to the more raucous inner city clubs and bars. Paul was also instrumental in setting up an interview with Made in Leeds TV when I was doing a charity bike ride and gigs which helped no end to drum up support and get people talking. If you're looking for someone to get on board your project with the enthusiasm and the know how to drive it up to the next level, Paul is your man.

Paul, at Kick down the Door, is a one man powerhouse.... beyond impressed with his vision, motivation and results. Certainly the best PR man in the game, and always a gentleman to deal with... I can not recommend Kick Down The Doors highly enough. Hiring them is probably the wisest move that you will ever make.

As someone with a blog and a show I can confirm that Paul works hard to get his artists noticed. He's quite persistent but not in an overbearing way and he always comes up with an impressive media pack. Most importantly he gives back to the blog/show by sharing which benefits both me and his artists

"Paul is the kind of guy that gives people working in the music industry a good name! He's no nonsense, easy to talk to, fun to hang out with, and works his ass off for you. This is our first time working with external PR and before taking the leap all we had heard were bad stories. With Paul, what you get is good results. He helped us get our music out to loads of new listeners, introduced us to cool people and gave great advice along the way. If you've written a song and you want people to hear it, call Paul."
